18 Bible verses calling for ministry!

2 Timothy 2: 15

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and correctly handles the word of truth.
2 Timothy 4: 2
Preach the word; be prepared in and out of season; correct, rebuke, and encourage -with great patience and careful instruction.
1 Peter 1: 15-16
But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: ‘Be holy because I am Holy.’
Isaiah 61: 1-3
The spirit of the sovereign Lord is on me because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoner, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour and the day of vengeance, of our God, to comfort all to mourn. And provide for those who grieve in Zion- to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and garments of praise instead of a spirit of despair.  They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord to display his splendour.
Matthew 28: 18-20
Then Jesus came to them and said,’ All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. And teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
Ephesians 4:11-13
So Christ himself gave the apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers to equip his people for works of service so that the body of Christ may build up until we all reach unity in the faith and the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
2 Corinthians 4:1-6
Therefore, since through God’s mercy, we have this ministry, we do not lose heart. Instead, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception or distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly, we commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God. And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.
1 Corinthians 3: 5-8
What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe—as the Lord has assigned to each his task. I planted the seed, and Apollos watered it, but God has made it grow. So neither the one who plants nor waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose and will each be rewarded according to their labour.
Hebrews 13:7
Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.
1Peter 5:3

Not lording it over those assigned to you, but being examples to the flock.

Colossians 3:16

Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.

Romans 10:14-15
How can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
 Roman 8:28

And we know that in all things, God works for the good of those who love him and have been called according to his purpose.
Isaiah 6:8
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us? ”And I said,“ Here am I. Send me!”
Matthew 11:28-30
“Come to me, all weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
Mark 1:16-20
As Jesus walked beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen.   “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.” At once, they left their nets and followed him. When he had gone a little farther, he saw James, the son of Zebedee, and his brother John in a boat, preparing their nets. Without delay, he called them, and they left their father, Zebedee, in the boat with the hired men and followed him.
Acts 2:39
The promise is for you, your children, and all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.”
1Corinthians 7:17-24

Nevertheless, each person should live as a believer in whatever situation the Lord has assigned them, just as God has called them. This is the rule I lay down in all the churches. Was a man already circumcised when he was called? He should not become uncircumcised. Was a man uncircumcised when he was called? He should not be circumcised. Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing. Keeping God’s commands is what counts. Each person should remain in their situation when God calls them. Were you a slave when you were called? Don’t let it trouble you—although if you can gain freedom, do so. The one who was a slave when called to faith in the Lord is the Lord’s freed person; similarly, the one who was free when called is Christ’s slave. You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of human beings. Brothers and sisters, each person is responsible to God and should remain in their situation when God calls them.
