PROSPERITY
Bible verse: Remember Jehovah your God, for he is the one who gives you the strength to gain wealth. That he may establish the covenant which he made with his fathers, as it is this day. Deuteronomy 8:18.
We must first realize that what we receive is from God. Whether we are rich or poor, we understand both things are from God and part of God’s plan. The above verse is in this context. Abraham’s descendants were always blessed. God never abandoned them, but God gave them four hundred years of slavery because he wanted to make them be aware of the corrupt system in the world. This nation to stand as a nation that illuminated the world. God led the Israelites out of the wilderness for forty years to humble and obey. It was God’s plan that they should not be deceived when they go to the land of milk and get rich, God took them through a difficult situation
so that injustice would not be inflicted on them, and further said that your wealth is from me, do not be proud, do not allow injustice and oppression. It should be in our best interests to humbly understand and follow God as the source of our strength and wealth.
If you are in poverty or going through a difficult situation, going through financial problems. Don’t think that how this is happening to you, even though you are a Christian. So realize that God is teaching you something. He has a grand plan for you. Rejoice in your affliction, and humbly follow Him. He has not forsaken you. You are blessed, and you are on your way to the land of milk. Rejoice in the Lord always. If we are rich, we should not forget that wealth has been given to us by God, so we should not forget God and be humble and devoted to His will so that we and future generations will be blessed.
PRAYER: Lord, I humbly accept your authority. Help me follow you. You have given me my wealth. Help me not to be arrogant. Let my riches be your glory. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
PRAYER: O God, I glorify You in my poor condition. My life is safe in
your hands. I am walking towards the land of milk and honey by your grace. Help me never grumble. You will give me strength and the opportunity to get wealth. I hope for your mercy. Help me, I will humbly follow you in all situations and live a life dedicated to you so that your glory may be through my life. Help me, In the name of Jesus, listen. Amen.
