Path of blessing Part 1. genesis 22:18

 PATH OF BLESSING

Through your offspring, all nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me. Genesis 22:18.

PATH OF BLESSING

Introduction: Many people today, especially those who believe in Jesus Christ, are experiencing blessings. God keeps them in every situation ” Our hearts filled with gratitude to the Lord when the poorest of the poor, and the families that depend on God for their daily bread, testify in the church how God is providing for them, how they are living a peaceful and happy life. I think it is good to see that why are they experiencing this blessed life?

God is the Father: Everyone wants a blessed life, but many do not have it. When a life full of turmoil comes their way, most people believe God causes their miserable life when no effort is forthcoming. But that is not the whole truth, because God punishes us for our own good. He wants us to be blessed. The Word says, “Jehovah is righteous in all his ways, and he is merciful in all his ways.” Psalm 145: 17. For God is the Father, not of man, but of all creation. Experience the fact that Jehovah is good; Blessed is the man that takes refuge in him”(Psalm 34: 8)

God created man as his representative, blessed him with fruitfulness so that he would maintain order on earth, putting God’s will first. Genesis 1: 27-28. God wants the best in human life and on earth because he is holy and the father of all.

Satan is the enemy: Satan is the actual cause of suffering in human life. God’s Word says that Satan is the enemy. Matthew 13; 39. He is ready to kill and destroy. 1 Peter 5: 8 says, “Watch out, keep on the watch, your enemy is like a roaring lion roaring to devour someone. He is very cunning. Genesis 3: 1, Ephesians 6:11. Has been sinning 1 John 3: 8.

Satan handles the misery of human life. He is the one who separates man from God’s blessings. Genesis 3:14. The discrimination, corruption, lies, atrocities we see in the world today; Satan causes this kingdom of darkness. God’s Word says, “He that committed sin is of the devil.” 1 John 3: 8. The Lord Jesus, while blaming the corrupt Jewish religious leaders, said, you belong to Your father, the devil, and you want to do as your father desires.” he was a murderer From the beginning. He did not stay in the truth, because there is no truth in him. John 8:44,

This Satan first deceived humankind and made them share in cursing and suffering. He brought the curse to the entire creation on earth. Genesis 3:14, 17. The first human sin is at work in every human being who does not believe in the Lord Jesus. Therefore, God’s Word tells the believing Christ not to allow Satan into your midst. Ephesians 4:27.

Salvation through Jesus Christ: When the first humans, Adam and Eve, disobeyed God’s command and followed Satan, man and the earthly creatures under his power were cursed. The man blamed for disobeying God. Thus, the fellowship between God and man ended, and man ceased to receive God’s blessings.

In order to be free from the sin of disobedience, the fallen human being hard to go through obedience till death. God did not leave the entire responsibility for this divine transcendence to man. Because the fallen man did not deserve to stand for this work, he was already part of the sin of disobedience. So he himself came to earth as an innocent human being, born of a virgin without a male-female relationship. And God made man righteous, devoted to the will until death. Romans 5: 12-21.

Christ justified the whole human race. He saved humanity. But to be part of this salvation, every human being must walk in his ways, trusting in the Lord Jesus. When a fallen man believes in Jesus Christ, God wipes away the original sin of that man that came because of Adam’s disobedience and accepts him as righteous. His Holy Spirit empowers him to live a life of obedience. We call this the new birth of man. John 3: 3-6. From here, he begins his journey to the kingdom of heaven. In his life, he glorifies God through his life, trying to live a righteous life with the help of God’s Spirit. In this new birth, he experiences God’s peace, joy, and help to live a full life, and eventually goes to God for eternal life. That is why Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life. John 14: 6.

Christ’s way of salvation opened to the accursed man. God became human and blessed us. Faith in Jesus blesses all human beings, regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, colour, or culture. God fills them with His love and grace.

Let us not forget that Abraham was the first person in God’s hands to carry out this work of salvation, for he is our spiritual Father and the guide to the life of faith. Heb.11.

Abraham the Representative of the human faith: God planned the salvation of man. He wanted to create a nation to carry out this plan. A nation that will walk according to his laws, to show light to the other nations in this world. He wanted to introduce himself to the world through his dealings with this nation. He chose Abraham to build such a nation and to symbolize the life of faith as the firstborn of this nation. Genesis 12: 1-3.

God wanted Abraham to be an example of a life of faith for the nation that would come from him and for those who would become his spiritual children through faith in Christ. In Genesis 17: 1 God says to him, “I am God Almighty; keep in mind that you are before me and be blameless”.

God tested Abraham so that his faithful life would test, and we would know how much faith a fallen man should live after being saved by faith in Jesus Christ. And God said unto Abraham, Take now thy son, thy only son Isaac, and go into the land of Moriah, and offer burnt offerings on the mount which I shall tell thee.

Abraham knew God is good and that he would never expect a human offering. He convinced God would not take Isaac away from him. So no matter what happened, when he went to offer his only child, believing that God would raise his son from the dead and give back to him, God stopped Abraham from Isaac’s burnt offering, not allowing him to be harmed in the slightest. However, Abraham obeyed God’s word so much that God said, “You did not keep your only son from me.” So your children will be like the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore. And thy seed shall possess thy enemies, and thy seed shall bless all the nations of the earth: for thou have kept my word. This promise of God to the nation of Israel is to be formed from him and to those of us who, by faith in Jesus Christ, become his spiritual sons.

Summary: God has truly blessed all nations through Abraham and his seed, just as he promised. The true God, the Creator of the world, revealed through Abraham. His faithfulness, righteousness, love, and holiness became known to the world. The killing, adultery, or immorality that is taking place in the world in the name of religion has proven to be unjust. The nation of Israel formed and a prominent leader like Moses was born from them. Through him, God gave the Ten Commandments and the Law and taught us how to live a holy life and a social life with God. God then revealed his holiness and plan of salvation to us through the kings and prophets of Israel, and finally, through Jesus Christ, he was incarnate and was born a virgin. And he appeared to all humankind and rose from the dead on the third day and introduced eternal life to the world. When it proofs that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. Salvation through faith in Christ means forgiveness of sins and deliverance from curses. Man can regain divine nature and receive eternal life. He who believes in him saved them from the punishment of hell. The good news of this salvation spread throughout the earth. Every nation, race, culture, every caste and every religion affected through this work of salvation and it continues today and will continue until the second coming of Christ. In all these historical journeys, Abraham’s descendants have remained in God’s hands. Whenever they made a mistake while walking in the company of God, they punished. And their punishment was to guide us. Etc. C. In 70 CE, God severely punished Abraham’s offspring, took their land from them, and handed it over to the enemy, leaving them in a state of scattering on the earth for about eighteen hundred years, in nineteen forty-seven they have their land back. But God never abandoned them completely. Wherever this lineage went, it was used to proclaim the good news of salvation. God blessed this lineage everywhere in many places, they received secondary treatment. They. Persecuted, but this Nation is still blessing the earth today by becoming as precious as gold. To make human life happy and prosperous, God has crowned this nation with all the artistic virtues, knowledge, and strength. The names of Abraham’s genetic and spiritual descendants, Christians and Jews, invented almost all in the world. All human welfare movements and social-political movements, Around the world have started by them. And are still illuminating the world today. Blessed is Abraham’s seed. God’s Word is firm and faithful. Anyone who believes in Jesus Christ has blessed, because “this is the path of blessing.”

PRAYER: O Lord Jesus, You are the Eternal God. You blessed me through Abraham. I am Abraham’s heir, as promised. Thank you for your love and grace. Lead me with your strength and let me do what you want me to do. Let the ministry of the gospel be my goal. Listen as I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.
