“True worshippers experience success in life.”
Bible Verse: You will eat the fruit of your labour; blessing and prosperity will be yours. Psalm 128: 2
This promise is for God-fearing children. Understanding that God is holy and expects a sacred life from us is essential. Like our parents, expect good things from us. We always treat them well because we respect them. We behave well in front of them, but in their absence, we do what we want to do. Our parents don’t know these qualities of us; we can deceive them. But we cannot deceive the creator of heaven and earth. He knows the thoughts in our minds. He is present everywhere at all times. It is difficult to deceive him. King David said, Where shall I flee from thee? In heaven, under the earth, and beyond the sea, Thou art everywhere, and light and darkness are strictly for you: he says, ‘Thou has formed my heart, thou have formed me in my mother’s womb. The fear of God is in him because of what God has done wondrous things. He says, “God, take my heart and know my heart. Test me, test my attitude. See if I have any inclination towards evil.”
King David was a true worshipper of God, which is why he experienced God’s help throughout his entire life. Therefore, a true worshipper of God, he could confidently say, “Truly, all the days of my life, I will have goodness and mercy, and I will abide forever in the house of the Lord.” Psalm 23: 6.
PRAYER: O Lord Jesus, I thank You for giving me the Holy Spirit to give me the strength to live a righteous life. Let my heart believe in you, and, like David, I would confidently say that you are my shepherd, and I shall not lack good things. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
