The Twenty-six Bible verses about perfection
1) Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly father is perfect. Matthew 5:48.
2) Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Philippians 3:12
3) In bringing many sons and daughters to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through what he suffered. Hebrews 2:10
4) The law of the LORD is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The precepts of the LORD are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes. The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever. The decrees of the LORD are firm and all righteous. They are more precious than gold than pure gold; they are sweeter than honey than honey from the honeycomb. Psalms 19: 7-10.
5) During Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with fervent cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. Son though he was, he learned obedience from what he suffered
and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obeyed him and was designated by God as a high priest in the order of Melchizedek. Hebrews 5: 7-10
6) God is faithful and has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there will be no divisions among you, but that you will be perfectly united in mind and thought. 1 Corinthians 1:9-10
7) For we know in part and prophesy in part, but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. As a child, I talked like a child, thought like a child, and reasoned like a child. 12) There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear, because fear involves punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. We love because he first loved us. Whoever claims to love God, yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister. 1 John4: 18-21.
13) Therefore, let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death and of faith in God—Hebrew 6:1.
14) Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God. 2 Corinthians 7:1.
15) Jesus answered, “Very truly, I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ John 3:5-7.
16) I will proclaim the name of the LORD. Oh, praise the greatness of our God! He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he. Deuteronomy 32: 3-4.

18) Day after day, every priest stands and performs his religious duties; again and again, he offers the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But when this priest offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God, and since that time, he has been waiting for his enemies to be made his footstool. For by one sacrifice, he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy. Hebrew 10: 11-14
19) Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by renewing your mind. Then, you can test and approve God’s good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12: 2
20) He said, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 2 Corinthians 12:9
21) Not many of you should become teachers, my fellow believers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly. We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect can keep their whole body in check. James 3:2.
22) As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.” Since you call on a Father who judges each person’s work impartially, live out your time as foreigners here in reverent fear. 1 Peter 1: 14-17
23) As for God, his way is perfect: The LORD’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him. Psalm 18:30
24) So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. Ephesians 4:11=14
25) Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for complete restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, and live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.
26) Every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. James 1:17.
